Hello Neighbors!
Sunday I attended a meet and greet on Mountain Charlie Road, organized by some wonderful supporters. This community has been grappling with a significant challenge: the failure of their road. Initially, they were told by the county that there were neither plans nor funds for repairs.
The residents banded together in true grassroots fashion.
They organized themselves and ensured that every elected official was aware of their predicament. Their persistent community advocacy, coupled with Supervisor McPherson's efforts, has led to a positive outcome. A temporary solution for Mountain Charlie Road is now being installed and is progressing quickly.
While this temporary fix isn't a permanent solution, it provides some much-needed relief to the residents. Their collective efforts serve as an inspiration to us all.
I'd like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our gracious hosts and to everyone who attended. Each conversation was deeply enjoyable, and it was a pleasure meeting you all.
