Hey Neighbors!
I had so much fun today participating in the Felton Remembers Parade. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and receive cheers of encouragement for the campaign! Afterwards my family and I enjoyed the festival at Covered Bridge Park. It was great to see it so well attended.
My wife and I then headed to Monty’s in Felton to connect with folks and have some amazing BBQ. I had a great time chatting with everyone and hearing from these neighbors what their concerns were for our district and county.
It always strikes me how our district is such a diverse place with an array of cultures, beliefs and social circles. It is very important to me that everyone feel seen and heard, because everybody’s voice matters. We have far more in common than differences. We are neighbors.
I hope everyone enjoys the long Memorial Day weekend! Please make sure to thank a veteran for their service. While Memorial Day is a solemn occasion to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice, it is also a day to recognize and thank all who have worn the uniform.
In community, always.
Christopher
What a great day. I am so sorry I missed it. Christopher your words encompass what this country is missing. Support for all and listening to everyone with equal value. You do it so well.
